Online children can meet a "virtual friend" via interactive online gaming such as Xbox, social media websites like YouTube, Twitter or Instagram. Children are naturally curious about sex and can go inappropriate adult website and engage with adults.

If you are worried about an adult online or offline, you should contact CEOP about your concerns. You may make your report to the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre who will take your report and act upon the information you give.
