Two step verification means that in order to access your online account you need to your user name, password and a verification code that is sent to you via text.
Using 2-step verification is a really good safety measure for victims of stalking. It means you can secure your email account and your mobile which is very important. If you use Google other products such as storing photos or documents online those will be more secure as well.
